It looks like it's a full costume but it's not a full length one.

I'll try and get some more screen caps at some point.

The film is actually quite a good one.
Al Myer (David's character) was given the aardvark jacket as a Christmas gift from his wife (who is also in the picture with him). He's not all that impressed with his gift though.
