Review: The Innocents Abroad

I watched this film for the first time back in 2005 but had read it's bad reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised as I rather liked the film. The main characters were funny and well played and the locations were lovely. The film is I don't know how close it resembles the book but I loved it and it was a film that was easy to watch. David played the the ship's doctor and he had quite a bit of screen time which I was pleased about and his role was different to some of the others I had seen him in at the time.

If you don't mind the fact that there's not all that much action in the film then I'd recommend it. Apparantely it's not that true to the book that it is supposedly based on but I've not read the book so I wouldn't know.
